NiMH Batteries
-
I'm not getting very good run time.
All NiMH batteries will have a break in period. It will take 4-8 cycles before the pack will come up to its full capacity. During this time, run the packs gently and limit your use of full throttle to shorter bursts. This will allow the pack to break in better and give the best pack longevity.
-
Does my NiMH pack have memory build up?
NiMh batteries do not have a memory like the older Nickel-Cadmium (Ni-Cd) so there is no need to cycle your packs. It is a good idea to cycle them from time to time to view the capacity the pack is still giving out.

My pack gets warm during charge.
A properly peaked NiMh battery will reach between 110-120 degrees F (43-49C) -
When should I recharge a pack after use?
Wait until the battery has cooled down to the ambient temperature. Typically this is about 30 minutes.
